This is a 100% silk scrunchie.

I make a naturally printed 100% silk scrunchie with lots of care and time using all-natural dyes. I forage the leaves locally and then print them in my garden shed and flat. Each, which piece is produced with a lot of love and can take up to 3 days from start to finish. Firstly, I scour the fabric, mordant, and prepare the dyes out of dried powdered/ chipped barks takes time. I then dye and print, where it is washed and ironed.

We make all of our products using the best quality fabrics, natural dyes and natural leaves. Creases, smudges, and dots are all part of the expected results of the natural/eco-printing process.

The scrunchie needs only washing when it is dirty, which means minimal washing and, if possible, no machine washing. Of course, machine washing is possible, it’s just that the colour wouldn’t be as vibrant as it is, delicate and naturally dyed and printed.
