This is a natural print and dye place mat in cotton with the backing. This process takes time to print as the cloth needs to be scoured to absorb natural prints and dyes, and metallic salts need to be prepared ahead of time. The process can take up to 2-3 days. The flowers and leaves on this print are sustainably sourced from the garden or foraged.

Then it is sewn/ made into a shoulder bag. The lining of the purse is made from 100% thick cotton cloth, which is all printed and dyed with natural dyes and materials. It has smudges, creases and uneven dye on this as part of the natural printing process. It is also lined with Insul-Bright wadding so that it is heat-resistant. The backing is dyed with cluth which gives it a light marrone colour.

This botanical leaf-printed bag is made using quality natural fabrics (as natural dyes will only absorb onto naturally occurring fibres and materials), natural dyes and natural leaves. Creases, smudges, and dots are all part of the expected results of the natural/eco-printing process. This product, in my opinion, is a great item to use as a place mat anywhere from a dining table to a coffee table.
