This is a botanical printed georgette  100% silk scarf made with lots of care and time using all-natural dyes. The leaves are foraged and then printed locally. I love this piece with the natural vivid green printed colour combination with other colours on this scarf palette.

Each piece is produced with a lot of love and can take up to 3 days from start to finish. Scouring, mordanting, preparing the dyes out of dried powdered/ chipped barks, dyeing and printing after which is it washed and ironed.

All our products are made using the best quality fabrics, natural dyes and natural leaves. Creases, smudges, and dots are all part of the expected results of the natural/eco-printing process.

As it is printed on lightweight silk most of the pieces are left unhemmed on purpose, for a free flow to maintain the breeziness to the fabric that is lost when hemmed. The fabric will fray one of two strands which can be pulled out gently.
