This is a leather natural printed purse using 100% real leather as the outer/ shell of the purse. This process takes time to print as the cloth/ leather needs to be scoured for it to absorb natural prints and dyes and metallic salts need to be prepared ahead of time. The process can take up to 2-3 days. Flowers and leaves on this print are from the garden or forage sustainably.

Then it is sewn/ made into a purse. The lining of the purse is also made from cotton which is all printed and dyed with natural dye and materials. It has smudges, creases and uneven dye on the leather as part of the natural printing process.

This leather natural printed purse is made using quality natural fabrics (as natural dyes will only absorb onto naturally occurring fibres and materials), natural dyes and natural leaves. Creases, smudges, and dots are all part of the expected results of the natural/eco-printing process.

Care of the cushion cover

Only washing is required when the purse is dirty and stained, which means minimal washing and no machine washing as it’s delicate and naturally dyed and printed. Here is more information on how to wash and care for natural printed fabrics. Although, it is mainly for fabrics. It will apply to the care of the lining. Leather only needs wiping down when it is dirty and to apply leather polish to keep the leather in good shape and moist. Otherwise over time it will dry out.
