This is a cushion cover natural print on Italian wool fabric. Fabric is made from Italian wool and ramie/ linen. This process takes time to print as the cloth needs to be scoured, and metallic salts need to be prepared ahead of time The process can take up to 2-3 days. Flowers and leaves on this print are from the garden or forage sustainably.

Then it is sewn/ made into a cushion cover. The backing of the cushion cover is made from all-natural fabrics. It has smudges and uneven dye as part of the natural dyeing process. I try to save as many fabrics as possible, upcycle and recycle printed fabrics when it is appropriate.

This cushion cover natural print product is made using quality natural fabrics (as natural dyes will only absorb onto natural fibres), natural dyes and natural leaves. Creases, smudges, and dots are all part of the expected results of the natural/eco-printing process.

Care of the product

Only washing is required when the product is dirty and soiled, which means minimal washing and no machine washing. This is because it’s delicate and naturally dyed and printed. Here is more information on how to wash and care for natural printed fabrics.

Dimensions 45cm x 45cm. It comes with a zip opening of about 34 cm. If a ready-to-go cushion will make life much easier I am happy to add some polyester wadding to the cushion. As cushions come in many different standard sizes the dimensions may not fit into an existing cushion.
